Old Newspaper

A WordPress Theme Looking Like an Old Newspaper

Only three days left!

April 28, 2015 ·

There are only three days left until nothing happens at all. But if you need to highlight something. This post format, “Notice”, is perfect.

The name “Notice” comes from the classic newspaper term. The Merriam Webster Dictionary says a notice is “a written or printed announcement”, with the example use of the word being, “Newspapers print notices of marriages and deaths.”

Once you click yourself into this post format, it looks the same as Breaking News, but in the front page grid, it will stand out in order to get noticed.

You may read more about post format types, in Newspaper Post Formats, part of the Documentation.
