Turns out. The older a newspaper become, the better they are. At least if one is to use it for decoration purposes.
It was a late November night in the year twothousandseventeen that the ground breaking discovery was made.
As the rain pounded against the windows, and a strong north wind rattled the glass, a fresh, off the press edition of “Mitt i Salem” flew through my mail slot. I held it up towards the waning light and scrutinized its surface for any sign of worthiness. It just was not to be compared with the rolled-up, different prints I had standing on my shelf—some of which dated all the way back to 1934.

Though this cute dog graces the cover of “Mitt i Salem”, there is no way to appreciate this more than a few oxidized papers from 1934.
Even though a cute dog graced the front page, it could not compare.
It turns out. Newspapers get better with the years. At least when it comes to decoration purposes.
The new Old Newspaper Theme
Behind the scenes we are now working on a new Old Newspaper WordPress theme. The work is already far in progress, and here are some of the plans.
You asked for it, and we bring it.
Different Color Themes
This is the most exciting part. We will now have three options for color themes (or call them color schemes as to not confuse it with the WordPress Theme itself). One of them is a yellow oxidized style the other is a completely black & white version. The thirds and default one, is the gray one we’re using here.
I am looking so much forward ot be able to release it to you all.
Many More Header Options
Now in the header you will be able to choose between two classic newspaper style typefaces. And of course—you asked for it, and we realized we should have had that one from the very beginning—the ability to have your logo in the header.
Release Will Be Shortly
Just hang in there. And if you want to be noted when the update comes, just leave a comment below, and I will personally mail you once it’s out there. Then you can go check it out here on the demo.
Have a good day.
