Menus

September 12, 2017 ·

The Theme features two menu locations.

Main Menu

The Main Menu is your large overview menu — your complete site map for your user. It is hidden inside the dropdown menu, to allow for it to grow as large as you need it.

The Main Menu is prepared for 5 levels of sub menus, though it is highly recommended that you keep it much simpler than that for usability.

It is always tucked away in the hamburger menu, so it is not main in the sense that it is most visible, but in that it is most comprehensible.

Top Menu

The Top Menu is located at the top — visible at all times — and is built to host a few of your most important links.

It has no ability for sub menus. Keep it short, keep it sweet.

On desktop it is on the top right side of the header. On mobile it becomes a sideways scroll menu at the top of the site.
