We are always striving to bring you the best possible Old Newspaper Theme there is, and because of our new pricing model, we can put more time into it than ever.
It’s easier than ordering a cuppa
We decided to transfer to Patreon this year, and so far it has been a success. Our patrons have been faithfully bringing their part to the table each month, investing the price of a cup of coffee or more into this Theme each month. I’ve been so encouraged from the engagement, that I put down more work hours on it now than I’ve done in forever.
Now we are only one patron away from our goal, which will mark the completion and release of the next version.
As we said over at Skylimit Productions’ main page, “The coming update is split in two phases. First we are polishing what we already have. Small cosmetic updates. Smoother infinite scroll. Better navigation, and a brand new commenting system. The update is already 80% complete, and it really takes the Old Newspaper Theme to the next level.
“After the initial polishing update is released, we will head straight into the creation of two brand new styles (as in the Gray, Oxidized and White seen on the picture above). These new styles however will be more playful than the others, and have a few purely cosmetic options added onto them — one being a “price tag” area in the header, to simulate a real newspaper.”
You can look forward to an Old Newspaper Theme that will run much smoother than it already does, and then lean back and await a couple of exciting visual versions to be released.
I for one look forward to get into the creative phase of making a brand new style or two, and I hope you will enjoy the final product.
